Cortex and Adrian Younge at L'Olympia
9/28/2026
What a cool night of music I was able to experience in Montreal! Adrian Younge had such a fun sound that I could listen to for hours and their bass player had the energy and swagger of a twenty year old kid.
Seeing Cortex in concert was such a treat. Having heard them sampled heavy in artists like Tyler, The Creator and MF Doom, it was amazing to hear it live. The main singer and pianist, Alain Mion, brought such an earnest and heartfelt energy to the stage that was absolutely moving and the rest of the band brought some incredible musical chops.
